potentially, he could be picking up a razzie if they don't handle the movies right.

Here's hoping we don't get another die hard 2 :outsider:

yes that Renny movie was pretty bad...even though John McTiernan
was back on the third one it isnt even close to the first one...and this time its a guy called Len Wiseman directing not known to me ...think he directed those Underworld movies

I honestly prefer Die Hard 3 to Die Hard 2. I watched them all before xmas, die hard 2 is definitely a poor film, I had a fuzzy memory that it was better than it was, but its clearly very poorly written and directed. Willis and association with Die Hard 1 saves the film in the audiences mind, but watching it again, you'll probably notice its not quite as good as you remember... at all really!

Well I like part 2 ! And you all can snort my filthy hairy ass

3 > 2 > 1 .... just like numerical theory you monkey brains.

I fully admit that part 1 created the modern-terrorist genre....
But tighter stuff has come along since ; it's been surpassed in terms of action, tension, drama even humor...
I too viewed them all bout 6 months ago, and part 1 left completely underwhelmed...like the horror movie you remember watching as a kid that scared the shit out of you....and now has you seeking for the right emotions...

Like that one hot ex-girlfriend at highschool you haven't seen in 10 years, and then come across......in a condition unlike anything you hoped to see :wacky:

How many people still include metropolis in their top 10 scifi movies huh ? :P

The defense has no further questions at this time your honor. <insert>

 Its proably your fault!!! At least I always blame my self..... anyway...

Yeah the Lethal Weapon trilogy did me the same recently. The first is great but the other 2 were kinda so-so. I hate Chris Rock so I wont ever part 4 again.

wtf, Die Hard 2 is better than Die Hard 1? WTF???
I see your suffering from the removal of your emotion engine!

Madness!

Die Hard is still one of the tightest action movies I can remember, and no i'd refute the fact that 'better' aciton movies have come along, which ones? That's utter bollocks I'm afraid, Die Hard is just as good as it has ever been. There's not a purer action movie I can think of.

I like Die Hard 3 way better than Die Hard 2, but its not even in the same league as the first. I'd still say Aliens is in the same league as Die Hard 1, Raiders of the Lost Ark, The Good, The Bad and The Ugly and Once Upon a Time in the West, Hard Boiled, Seven Samurai... Same league very different types of movies. I guess there's some awesome war movies too, but Die Hard is till a brillaint movie. They've tried to clone it and failed, say with films like Hostage (Willis again) or Negotiator, but i can't recall a single film of the same subgenre that is finer.

So are you saying the likes of Speed, Con Air, Face / Off, Titanic etc. are Die Hard betters you mad old fuck?! :googley: :googley: Those films are so lame next to die hard 1, and they are some of the more popular action films. The only ones that have been of real merit have been a totally different type of movie, like say True Romance, Pulp Fiction, Resevoir Dogs, et al. Not really adrenaline action movies though, they've got more going on. Or one of the modern "meh" fests like Gladiator, please! Ridley, go home....

Die Hard is still the template for those kind of movies, its the template because its the best.

Crazy :outsider:
