Any of you guys ever visit the big uk horror fests?? i only ask cos i have in the past and would make a great meet spot . Ive went to dead by dawn in edinburgh most years and its fantastic to see the films on the big scren plus many first showings and exclusives, il defo be going to that one in the future as its getting bigger and bigger, its expanded to 4 days long this time round i think. plus its just an excuse to have a long weekend of beer and movies and about 2 hrs sleep :beerchug:

would love 2 go to this film fest http://www.frightfest.co.uk/ this year but yet again it clashes with Reading festie which i already purchased tikits for :( wot is sickening for me is that Dario Argento is slated to appear!!
Quote:
But what's the really exciting news, we hear you ask! Well, we are thrilled to announce that Dario Argento, the Italian horror maestro behind the genre classics The Bird with the Crystal Plumage, Suspiria and Deep Red, will be our guest of honour. Yes, he's confirmed he'll be in attendance to launch Alan's new book Profondo Argento, which FAB Press are publishing to coincide with FrightFest. Alan's authoritative and detailed look at Argento's life and career, featuring hundreds of behind-the-scenes personal photos never printed before, will only be available at FrightFest so you'll have to be there to ensure a signed copy. And that's just one of the extra-special events taking place at FrightFest 2004.
