No need to delete anything, the releases are mostly/all group releases so there should be sources. :)

I think dead Hdrives are kinda like the digital version of a earthquake / twister / sunami etc etc.... a kinda of natural disarster you have to learn to live with..

I remeber when I had all my drives done as a single raid0.... one drive dies THEY ALL die. Yes the great crash of 2000...

i lost a 40gig HD a few months back for some unknown reason :wacky: ....i've been too lazy to try and recover anything from it but i may get round to it since it had the whole tripods series on it among other things

Total hdd failure yes. Soft failure no. I would never put anything on a windows partition, hell I keep it on a drive by itself if its possible.

If its unavoidable. Parition and put programs and everything on a seperate drive. A required format then only takes out windows and core appz, even settings for other programs can be saved by reinstalling them over the top (or lots of the time, that isn't needed :) )

yeah but ya gotta know what ya doing for that, and i don't

come on its easy peasy. Install, then grab partition magic. And then split off 8GB for windows and do with the rest as you wish :)

All done, then its a simple matter of changing C:\program files\ to d:\programs\App type everytime you install something (there's almost certainly a way of changing the default app path, but I'm too lazy to look  )

Worth it in the end from my point of view. Now do it or I break your legs... :eatthis:

cos i couldn't be arsed getting into a pissing contest with someone who doesn't give a shit about rippers, ripping or releasing. ;)

lol@release though... quite amusing. Like saying Sharereactor or shareconnector release stuff :)

I've heard stuff like "Sharereactor's excellent release" or "good rip by sharereactor" before which always makes me smile. There was this one guy (who was a complete tool), that when I posted my Iron Maiden concert rip on SR forums came on and said "Too slow sharereactor, we already released this" :o At that point I had to make him look like a total retard (especially when he was referring to a 2cd AC3 Divx vs a 3cd undersized VCD) on top of it all.... it would have been a violation of Space Corps directive 40592 otherwise. :D

Happy days :)

Anyway, I put up a post back.. what the smeg.. I have plenty of time for an arguement, who am I kidding

I only got 2 of the DVDs myself, Rock in Rio and Visions :)

Ah visions i meself also, nice dvd it is

What i also have is the IRON MAIDEN - THE NUMBER OF THE BEAST
Great dvd about how the guys made this legendary album, chat with bandmembers and insight in the studio, they look back on the actual master tapes and you hear some songs with or without some tracks, like vocals drums etc, not whole tracks but fragments.
Maybe i can make a rip for ya sometime !! I thought this to be a really nice add-on to my MAIDEN collection

SPud is right about the PM shit and installing appz on a seperate partition, the only bitch I hated was having to install most stuff over itself to keep settings, but still easier than just re-installing the lot from scratch.

Also, just bung ya HDD into a working PC and you may be able to get access to the data, has worked for me b4, just make sure the donor PC does not try to boot from the crippled drive.
