Bah, fuck that. Just modify the registry to effectively kill this "enhancement". I have decent security blah blah blah and have never been hit by any of the shit they are trying to stop.

I installedsp2 yesterday and even before reading this thread i noticed by d/l's went from usual 20-30 k down to 2k and chugging along bad,well now i've done a system resore and got shot of the service pack and low and behold my d/l's have improved

System restore LOL that shit never helped me. Prolly woulda been easier just to mod ya registry mate. An even better solution would be to kill Bill Gates LOL
