what's wrong with vacuuming the pc? Your supposed to clean electronic equipment regularly. Just as long as you don't use the vaccum on a fan, its pretty much standard practise. Or have a missed some detail? |

Actually doing it that way could potentially build up a static discharge. I prefer to use compressed air then a PC vacuum, which is designed to not emit any static discharge. Then again I have friends who've been brain bashed enough to add and remove non-hot swappable components while the PC is running. ![]() ![]() |

I've never had any 'static problems' in a long time of doing pc. But then again my normal attire isn't a lime green shell suit ![]() I have used a vaccuum cleaner on pcs before, as long as its plastic tubing and you don't touch the components, there's no problem with doing it. Always touch the case before fiddling your IDE channels ![]() |
