Post subject:  What's the story behind your nick?
I've often wondered about some of you buggers.

Mine is a little philosophical:
I just thought the idea of being an unknown dead guy was kinda interesting. (I used to call myself John Doe [DOA] ) No one cares about you. no one mourns. Just siece to exsist and thus achieve Nirvana. Is it possible to get any lower AND higher at the same time?
I have never seen the show 'John Doe' and I had this nick long before that was even thought of.

Jynks came from Jyujinkai Shikmia... Jyujinkai are the demon sex beasts in the urosukidoji and the Shikmia is a clan of demon sex beasts in LA Blue Girl.

My old girlfriend used to call me jyujinkai and I used that on the net as it almost never was taken, and used Shikmia as a backup.. but hanging in irc no one would ever type it as it is hard to type.. so everyone wrote jyu jynk and slowly it evolved into Jynks.

I'm sure no one here needs me to tell you that George Tatum is the lead character in Nightmares In A Damaged Brain, one of my favourite Nasties.

@PCA, another punk rocker eh? Never liked Reality Asylum myself, other than that Crass were good up till about 1982 and then I thought they went off the boil. And is More fun than an open casket funeral a reference to the Accused LP?

I'm no bank robber, that's for sure and I haven't killed anybody yet. Still, Arthur Penn's Bonnie&Clyde is definitely my favorite non-horror movie.It's so intense and I find Faye Dunaway absolutely incredredible ... And os course, as the movie was one of the first one to ever get into trouble with censorship, along with Peckinpah's Wild Bunch, that makes it a special date in the history of gore :wacky:

Yes and Yes, Crass were pretty cool until '82, but conflict were better ;)

My nick's my old site, I used to use it on emultaion boards then it just stuck (mainly so I didn't have to remember lots of diffrerent nicks to log in with :lol: )

I got the nickname FTL (faster than light) when I was at school, simply cos I was extremely quick witted and also very fast at working shit out in my head. That name stuck for about a year until I got more into physics and my teacher at the time started calling me tachyon, a small change of spelling to be a little more distinctive and there ya go.

Yes I have had many names online, but this is the one I always come back to.

Got my nick because my friends think i sleep to much (calling me rigor mortis and stuff like that), and i find the villain Judge Death to be a cool dude :-)

(I don't sleep more than others, im just nocturnal)

My nick is very old too.

When I moved school in the early classes my classmates started to call me Jensi (can't explain how you pronounce it, but it sounds very gay in my language) because, you know, people with some names are always given the same nicknames, and there was this other guy at school bearing the same name as me which was also called Jensi. So one day my messed up 13/14 year old head thought of calling myself Jensus, and I got people to call me so. Today i'm found many places on the internet using the nick, im also called it in real life by many, some even think that it's my real name.
