well my internet connection dropped while i was at work yesterday (tv was fine) and when i got home i reset the STB as usually required (BIG MISTAKE THIS TIME) but when it came up again there was still no net AND the tv had gone as well

just displaying an err msg stating that i currently have no channels and that i should check cables and reset the box!!! which i have done numerous times. but unfortunately i then tried to call NTL only to get recorded msgs stating the office is closed until the morn. but i had to leave to get to work b4 they were open again

if i dont get home in time 2nite could be amusing (not!) as i might not be in a position to 'be in front of the box' until sometime next week. i already gave them the spiel that i very unhappy bout the situation and thinking of cancelling/wanna be put thru 2 complaints etc but got me nowhere fast. will be patient tho and call this evening if i back in time. then the shit will hit the fan!!!!
I have worked out that STB's are good for about 8 months fautless work and then all seems to go miserably wrong
