Hi Spud I just wanted to ask you I have been adding those with HHAH in their emule nick to my friends list for d/l priority and I just noticed that I have 2 spud the destroyers in there are they both you or has someone stolen your nick? Thanks Kat |

my name is: HHAH SpudTheDestroyer fileheaven I only have one client running so the other guy has stolen my nick. If it's a variant of that it needs banning. Is your name raven? I'm downloading The Hills Have Eyes atm, and have downloaded 8.93mb off of you at the time of posting this. The other guy needs blocking. |

At least he has not stolen your hash. You should post your hash somewhere here. Then my helper prog. could get it and automatically ban the other guy. And Katya, if you really are Raven. What about a HHAH in your nick? It is really important should you ever want to dl from me. |

oh ok I will fix my nick I saw you tried to browse me but were denied how do I add you to friends? So far I only am able to add those who I see d/l from me I don't know how to add any other way my nick is now Kat(HHAH) |

Don't bother (unless you want to  ). My client tries to browse automatically when I put someone in my friends list. I do this with all active HHAH mebers here, in case I want to send them a message.

no that's an identification system added in my emule client i think, i haven't manually added it but I've noticed that it's on some people on my friends lists name. I've noticed it's after a lot of people's names. |

Scrapped that, but nonetheless share lists and my clients does not work well. I don't have much control about it. The only thing I could do is _not_ to put you in my friends list. This would not be real bad since mldonkey does not have friend slots like emule and my own program works different, but then I cannot send messages to you. Btw. currently I can only activate/deactivate share browsing globally. But one of the mldonkey inofficial devs gave me a patch that I can activate browsing only for friends. Hope I have the time to apply it this weekend. Would only be fair. If you show me yours, I show you mine

well, after hearing that i instantly need counseling. yikes an odd thing that has happened to me before, i connected with at leat 40 echos/poppeople/clones of myself. It was a few mods back, but it just looked neat. And i was actually downloading from myself, too. |

Old versions of mule (or at least Tarod used to generate clones,m but I was never downloading from myself. You think 40 people have stolen your nick?

That strange "community tag" is bait for those community tag stealers (like the leechermod darkmule). eMule gives a different random tag to clients you connect to, and if the "suspect" changes the name using it it's banning time... Even if you don't care about those stealing your community tag, their clients probably have other leech-features too like 0-upload.. So ban the assholes!

I like darkmule. It is so friendly to include my whole nick as substring into its own nick. Hey good idea, so he has all the community tags which are included. Even those it does not recognize as tags. Hehe, but also "Wargand", which means instant banning. |
