No more waiting for 2 years or more before I watch a film. Just bought a new faster computer. Athlon 64 3400+, 1 GB ram, 200 mb hd. Now I can watch a film in 1/10th of the time I needed before.

See, this is the weird thing about Technology. I was thinking, up to this point, that I was gonna upgrade to a 64 3000+ after Christmas. But now the difference between the 3000 and the 3400 is only $50!!! And who knows what the price will be after Christmas. The 64 3700+ could drop into my price range. I hate putting motherboards and chips and fans into cases though, so what I'll do is just have a custom computer website put together the case, chip, cooling, and RAM for me, and I'll do everything else myself. Cannibalize my old machine, buy some new stuff, blah blah blah. I just wish I had the money to replace my Hard Drives with SATA Hard Drives, cuz then I could buy an SATA motherboard upon upgrade and greatly increase my HD speed. But what can ya do. |
