I can't see my post count.. eh..?

What happen? ... No one can see their post count now? Not like it mean anything to me, but for some people it matters. I am not a reg here so it doze not matter.

But why you put silly super mario icon above name to represent post count? -- All that does is make people feel alienated for some reason. Coz I could name a few people here who actually do deserve to have their post count showing for their participation in keeping the forums active.

Not good thing to let a few spammers ruin the stats of the rest of the people. I am sure I have no more than 100 posts coz or so. Bring back the posts mang. Not cool for even people like me who dont have alot of time to surf the net and then see some super mario icon above me name.

And why cant people have their own titles if they worked enough for it. Remind me of warez boards. Dont let a few spammers ruin your forum. Cap them.. not me, I wouldnd't mind seeing or knowing the number of my post.

Otherwise, I am wasting my time on a generic forum. I like it here but I am getting the feeling to much organization and not enough devotees.

I would like to be a reg here sometime but since I post that metal thread and get it "integrated" here and u can't see you post total, I get feeling too much control so maybe best to move on.

I would not kiss ass here but I think Spud is one cool admin, I know, I do the same thing not on ed2k forums tho.. Long live ED2k and the rarities!

I think it's the people who release the movies that deserve the credit for keeping this forum active.
Not people who just jibba-jabba.

People should have a Release count. Not a post count.

And stuff like post count / release counts don't really serve a purpose.

This is one of the best community boards I'm on, coz we all get along and don't look at post count to mean anything, so there for don't need it!

And a release count is too much like starting a competition.
We all know who the good releases are on the board *cough* =STR= *cough*

its nothing elite with post count... its ok to know how much posts you have done since you joined. i am not alone to want this...

typing your own title have also nothing to do with elite, its a choice of choosing what you feel best fit you in the title....

alot of forums have these, if the cause is why this stuff was removed becouse of fear of ppl being elite then its silly...

You can always use your location to add a "title" and as Daeron rightly points out your post count can be viewed in your profile.

See, everything useless post encourages lots of useless posts. I guess having a post counter might encourage it a slight bit more, well, having the post counter or not doesn't really matter, anyway.

Quite frankly at this site it doesn't matter anyway how many posts you have..all members should be given the same respect you would want given to yourself.
As far as releasers having more "props" then other members,again that doesn't matter...if it wasn't for the people that took the time and bandwidth to download the movies that are released what would be the point at all?I understand the meaning behind all of it...it just is not something that has really to my knowledge ever been implied or wanted for this place.Maybe a few people think it matters...but that is about as far as it will get I am sure. :wink:
