Which Newsgroup Server?

I'm going to take the plunge (at last) and use a subscription based newsgroup. This is new to me and so far I've looked at easynews, giganews and usenetserver.

From the slyck guide I'll be using NewsBin Pro - but I'd appreciate any recommendations and advice as to which newsgroup to use. I admit they are costlier than I first thought, but usenetserver at $39.99 per quarter (auto-renewable) seems the best so far.
