350mb movies

ehhhhhhh?
i guess, since there's a dvd-r post and dvd-r's are starting to become more commen, I might as well
swim upstream and ask about 1/2 movies. i accidentally hit the 1/2 cd button on gordian knot, ended up with a few 350mb movies.

anybody want some this size? like 56k modem users/low speed connections or people not too hung up on quality?
i'm usually always at the lower end of the new technology, so i can relate to people with slow modems.

i guess i could list quite a few reasons why 350mb movies would suck, but only a few about why they were good- faster download, if u use a slower internet connection then you probably have a slower computer and it may play lower bitrate movies better, this one i'm on does.

ah, just wondering if there was any interest before i deleted them.

I would. Watched a couple of 350 mb flicks. list'em..
hell, 'Freaks' is only 250 mb or something, and sinces it's BW it's not bad at all. I even watched a flick which entire sice was 7 mb once, in .viv format. you could bareley make out what was happening...

eh,
thats about what i figured, a most people prefer 700mbs, but a few try the 350mb.
i accidently did dvd of 'pieces' 'hobbs end' and 'satans school for girls'at 350mb , and have the 700mb versions encoding now too. i guess people can choose. cant say im a fan of any of these movies. when i buy dvds i go for quanity, not quality. there are good reasons they sell these movies in sets for about 1 $ each stacked in the bargain bin next to 'john tesh's greatest hits' and jars of expired baby food.

i never usually download anything under 600 meg unless its v rare and deperation creeps in, the way the compression is going in new divx codecs the quality is awesome but why bother going below 700 meg ? no point really
