Technically its no different from google, i mean I can find cracks and warez by a simply search. Of course media companies don't give a crap, but I'd imagine it would be very, very hard to close a mule server down. Remember Razorback 1 (The original) only closed because it was an unused server that they eventually got round to using for its primary purpose. only places I think they've nabbed ed2k servers are the states, denmark and perhaps the netherlands if memory serves me... normally it doesn't lol |

yeah, that's all fine and dandy, but with ed2k now being the most used p2p app, the bastards are bound to go hunting. Strange that there hasn't been more attacks actually. On a little sidenote: they just busted a huge DC server here in norway. It was found in the buildings of the ISP themselves, placed there by a friend of an employee. A "huge" DC server is still only a decimal compared to Razorback. |
