Its a shame that people do this, i really, really, really don't understand why sites's that offer a free service or are run at a loss are attacked. I don't get it.

I can't find any reason why anyone should be such a dick, but you see this all the time... weird... and sad :?

Starbase.se has been attacked by the brazilian script kiddie group OutLaw. Information about the attackers has been gathered and handed to international security police and to the brazilian police.

If you like to visit the kiddie group OutLaw, they can be found at IRC: irc.gigachat.net #outlaw or be mailed at xiz@outlawgroup.org The youngsters of OutLaw also have a cute web page at www.outlawgroup.org

If you want to google around a bit yourself looking for info about the attackers, you will probably find interesting information by searching by their "hacker" aliases. The members of the Brazilian OutLaw group use the following aliases:

Pharoeste
Antrojan_M
_Cris_r0x_
chip

We have also collected street adresses, locations, names and ages of the attackers, and we have also found some pictures on forums that the youngsters frequently visit. If you want to take part of this material then just send us a mail.

Starbase is getting old, and that is why I have decided to buy a few new servers and reinstall everything. This is going to be done as soon as possible. Everything on the stabase servers will be deleted. Your last chanse to mail me and request for a backup of all material stored on starbase is 30th of April 2005. After this there will be no chanse to download any data. When the new servers come online, a few of the old users will have their accounts back one by one. The disclaimer you all have accepted will be held to starbase.se's and it's owners advantage if there should be any problem with this.

As long as you understand the opinions who cares if it says horrormovie instead of horror movie? :argue: By the way, I know the owner of the site pretty well and he told me that the brazilian cops couldnt care less but that he's found a way to take care of them anyway :twisted:
