If so, what's it like? As a fan of the books I'm a little worried, but at the same time, I want to go and see it. Can anyone help me make my mind up? |

Hhhm, missed the series first time around, and only caught dribs and drabs later on. I will see this, but not at the cinema, will download when available. @Koff, The Hitchhikers guide to the galaxy. |

I won't be seeing it, watched the mini-series twice, never could get into it. So I'm not very interested in this version. I'll probably end up wasting my time downloading it once DVD rips are up, though. |

I was actually a little dissapointed by the books TBH. The original radio show was so hillarious, I thought the books was just a more dragged out version, that had bigger and bigger gaps between each laugh. |

am in 2 minds as to whether to go see this too. i loved the radio series best, then the books, then the tv series. i know there's bits that are going to disappoint and bits that wont....aw heck i think if it rains over the bank holiday i'll go see it, if not i won't

I saw it last night, it's very good and well worth seeing whether you like the radio plays / books or just like comedy sci-fi. 8/10

i thought it was ok....i've not read the books but do have the series that BBC1 showed many moons ago....i think another watch may help but tbh it was not the best thing i've seen recently

The big problem for me was that it just wasn't funny, also it dragged REALLY badly at times |
