All you Telewest customers had better make hay whilst the sun shines, the DARK cloud of NTL looms in your very future

Hhhm, as I suspected, no real new info there. Does not even mention who, if anyone, will have the greater control.

TW giving up the idea of more control means nothing, hell it is not that uncommon for mergers to happen, but both sides still essentially run as seperates on a localised scale.

Maybe my theory about SmellyWaste internet packages being premium, and NTsmelL being the budget end, may come true.

Well I'm off to Bulldog at the end of today - cheaper anyway (cause I bought me own dish and stuck it on Hotbird) and I get 4 meg unlimited

Telewest? I friggin' wish. NTL in Ireland just got sold to some lot with the exceedingly crap name of UnitedGlobalCom. Reminds me of the Simpsons where Homer had an internet company called HyperGlobalMegaSomethingorother.

LMFAO, a truely classic episode indeed. Gotta love the corporate buyout technique employed in that ep. Ya reckon TW and NTL are like that?
