I hope your bandwidth is capped to 1mb per month  J/k

Nice connection. I wonder how long it will be before we get a connection like this in the UK?

You live in the Netherlands, eh? I've seen it too (i'm with the provider already) 20mbit with no cap sounds great to me, i've been thinking 'bout switching since i'm paying 30 euro's a month now anyways. Can't give a shit about football but my father does so i guess i'll make a 50/50 deal with my parents. 8)

Beware ! We are more numerous than you think !

VERSATEL - http://www.versatel.nl

They claim to have their own fibre network....which does worry me - should make it more easy to trace who's downing what and how much etc....

..en waarom zit ik hier nu engels te rammen op mijn keyboard :wacky: ?

I only have a 1,6mbit connection right now, got it when it still was zonnet (~2,5 years ago i think).
Geezus: didn't know that they had their own network, didn't know it matters either. Can you explain the problem in short please? (evt. in Nederlands ;) )

1 meg up with 20 down? That is pathetic, if you maxxed out ya downstream you would have no upstream left LOL

I can see it now, grabbing ya favourite zombie flick at 19-20 meg down, and sharing back at 1K

Yeah, you've got a point there. It'll be harder to share all that's coming in... Could be solved by capping your download in eMule but what's the point of the connection then...

It was bad enuff when I had 4 meg down and only 256k up, wasn't much better when they set it to 384k either. It used about 14-15K of upload for a full speed download at 4meg.
