This is an XCD, it will not play in a dvd player, and without the proper codecs
and support files, it won't play on your computer either. I've included the
necessary files, and if you have Nero, you should use it to burn the image.

I loved this movie when I was a kid, and it still holds up pretty well. It can
be pretty creepy. Hope you like it.

im not sure what thats for - it just came with the release.
I was thinking it might be for mac userz who like toast.

I didnt use it.
I didnt try extracting the bin file either but if i would have i would have used isobuster. I take it you dont mount your images.

I would just burn the bin/cue. when your done youll have another dat file. then id make sure you have the codecs needed to play an ogg /xvid file.
ogg.exe, xvid.exe, & ffdshow.exe. Then just open the dat with zoom or Bsplayer or which ever you prefer.

nope. wasted 2 cd's on it now. tried to burn it both with nero and fireburner just to see if there's any difference. Also tried to play it with 4 different players.

thing is it's acting so weird. it's almost as if it's unable to read the cd correctly. but when I tried to just extract the image it behaved the same way. G-spot told me it was able to render it but the places where it's supposed to say what codecs it uses are just blanks. ehh. this is starting to be kind of a mystery to me...

can you tell me exactly what codec and codec version you have installed and use to play this file?

Have you tried Videolan?

videolan.org

It's my play-the-file-that-won't-be-played-by-any-other-player player. :D

Don't know if it can play a .dat. Never tried it. Works on some problematic .avi's though. Nothing else would play it, but this.

Worth a shot :P
