Looking for verified links for these two.
Uncut version of PIII would be nice too.

Thanks.

According to the BBFC this is uncut. However, it was submitted cut (damn MPAA censors fault here), as the US version required cuts to get an R rating. A bootleg version of this movie is available uncut, but no dvd release in any region.

Your looking at a TV rip at best. :(

Phantasm III was better than the first two, all three of the originals are shit anyway. There's no 'destoying' to be done. It's like saying Scary Movie 3 destroyed number one or two.

You sure that Part IV is in English? I've downloaded 2 or 3 movies that had "www.abandomoviez.net" in the link and were all dubbed to spanish :?

Yup, all Phantasms from abandonmovies are Spanish dubbed.
And why the hell is it titled Apocalipsis? Or is it the ripper's tag?

I'm grabbing this one and it's supposed to be English:
Phantasm.lV.Oblivion.avi
There was also a rip by DreadLordApophis, but it seems to be stone dead.

I'm also trying this one:
Phantasm II [Full DivX].avi
It seems to have more sources than your version, @Dxa, and the quality is nice, but I'm not sure about the language. I'll let you know as soon as I find out.

I thought part 2 sucked arse! thats because a big movie studio had to come in (Universal), like Halloween 2 sucked a bit.
Part 4 was better than 3
Part one was good because it was original, there wasn't anything like that ever made before it. It was a true 'B' Original thats for sure
Stupid and fun to watch.

Gonna try a few different ones and then keep the best copy,on top of that other one beeing in spanish it wasn't a very good picture with telltale streaking marks and other bad artifacts all over the damned thing.Hopefully between us both we can find the best copies available and put it in the collections section.1,2,and 3 are almost complete for me so I should know something more about specs within the week. :beerchug:

DivX V5 29.97fps
937 Kbit/s

Yes, please, wouldn't waste my BW on my version if I knew yours is ok. And it's widescreen too, as the name suggests.

I can now confirm that Phantasm II [Full DivX].avi is in English and has good quality.

So it IS English, I presume? :)

Unfortunately, there is not a single source for this one. Tried using Jigle and eMule search, nada. So if you could reshare it, and your bandwidth permits you to start from the scratch, it would be great. If not, then it's Phantasm.lV.Oblivion.avi. Not sure about the lang version yet, but the quality is decent.

no, binary

Don't bother with the other. I'll release the one i've got if you can wait till after league of gentlemen, which is at 3 of 6 atm.

It's ripped, just need space and b/w to share it. Unless someone with a decent line can share it for me instead.

No problem for me, I'm patient. I still have to see the other three parts of Phantasm, besides - LoG is always a priority for me too, especially compared to this crap.
BTW, did I tell you that I can't get anything directly from you? You keep appearing and disappearing every few minutes. I download your releases from other people.
I can help spreading something if you wish. My upload is only 128, but that's still something.

well, how taste differs....thought that Phantasm and Phantasm II were one of the best horror-B-movies ever made...this films really have their own world, not the thousandth ripoff o some other shit....part III became a little weak and "Oblivion" isn?t worth to watch.

to be honest, i think i fell asleep in all 3 of the ones i saw so maybe I'm not the best person to ask. But no 3 seemed better than 2, which was better than number 1.

Best Horror B-movie is of course The Thing!. Definitely a b-movie in every sense. Hell the only thing preventing Alien from being a b-movie is the huge budget, was definitely written as a Roger Corman production :)

I never really considered The Thing to be a B-movie,in fact imo it is Carpenters best movie, the original The Thing is definatly B-movie type and a laugh riot to watch now. While I am on it,did you ever get to check out The Thing the Video game?Gameplay was lacking but it was pretty cool how they just started right in from the end of the film.
I love the Phantasm series with the first one as my favorite,it tripped me out as a kid with the finger turning into the wasp like thingy.I also liked #2 while 3 to me was a bit generic in nature but still decent enough to own,#4 I haven't really sat and watched like I should have..aways busy doing something else when I have put that on.One thing I did notice...The Tall man hasn't aged well through the years..he looks rather hideous..without makeup. :-o
