I was trying to download a game from a newsgroup with Newsbin pro, 'registered' with a patch. While it's downloading, in the lower bar, on the left it states the speed. It's xxxkbps/xxkbps. The fist one being around 250 and the latter around 25, i checked and it takes around eight minutes to download ~10mb. With over 250kb/s, it would be far more over eight minutes so i'm guessing there's a limit to my bandwith? Has this anything to do with the fact i'm running a cracked version?

Another update: I read it's the same speed, only displayed in different units. Still, only 30kb/s download isn't very fast eh... any suggestions?

Bleh, topic can be closed. I found out the newsserver from my provider just sucks. Guess i'll try a payserver sometime.
