I use coverXP from cdcovers.cc

It's free and VERY simple :)

same here, although its templates are too small. I had to manually correct the size to get it to print larger.

For printing onto discs, i use Epson Print CD. I haven't tried any alternative software as it does what its supposed to.

I got CoverXP Pro 1.62 and had to shrink the top/bottom border down and increase the left/right border of dvdkeepcasefile template.

To get a perfect fit

latest, but its been exactly the same for the past few versions.
There's a gap meaning the cover doesn't fit the case correctly.

Perhaps your cases have the plastic cover attatched so the cover that fits inside is smaller. However, i got out a ruler and had to check the sizes.

"dvd.keepcase.single.file"
was too small for my DVD case and left a gap at either end of the cover.

I have adjusted the settings to:
width: 185mm
height: 272mm

(they are the wrong way round actually btw, by width its actually height depending on how you look at the case)
which is just under the actual size (by about 1mm at either side) but ensures the cover fits in fine. The actual size is closer to 274mm, however doing it this big meant they often didn't fit in correctly.

Maybe the pofiles i had were wrong, but when i downloaded it was closer to 265ish, which is half a cm too small.

They have, that explains it.
