Hi, I was wondering if i shall update my client to emule v.047a from current v.044b ?
I have a Pawcio 5.15 mod installed also so i think it will overwrite it and there isnt anewer version of this mod :(

What shall i use instead for mod?

Is this upgrade necesarly? The razorback keeps telling me to upgrade ;)

yes, its not always necessary to update through minor revisions, but when its that old then its a very smart move.

Morphxt seems to be popular.

Thx what you think about Xtreme mod is it better ? I am looking for one similar or better than pawcio :)


... and i made a copy of the config folder but what files i need from there to keep my credits and prefernces? Is it preferences.dat and cryptkey.dat ?

never tried it. Don't have a need to, they are all pretty much the same. As long as you have upload control that works then i don't think there's much else to it.

As for keeping your shit. I normally rar up the entire emule directory, then i drop the exe in and see if it works, or if you get poor performance there's a thread @ emule-project.net that tells you what to keep.

A final note, i've found that if you've got a lot of downloads on your client, its better to copy all your temp files to a different directory, then use the tools>import part files since it doesn't attempt to do a mass hash and kill your pc. click yes when it asks if you want to delete after successful import.

Thx so much i installed morphx and its wonderful :) works lot faster and didnt change anything :beerchug: hope this mod will last has some nice features but i wont change anything.


EDIT: I want to restrict the uploading conections to say 5-6 people but they will have faster uploading to them. Now I have like 30 ppl and each have like 10 Kb/s each. How can I do that?
