Go to your options menu in emule then hit the security tab.
There you'll find the option to filter messages.
Here's a bit of mine for example:

Your client has an infinite queue|Your client is connecting too fast|fastest download speed|disrael|zambor|zambor 2|FXeMule

Works for me so far

Cheers

(P.s. Put the names of the "spammers" between the seperators but that's obvious i guess)

Does anyone know if these clients actually get banned or are the message just getting filtered out?

I wonder why the incoming messages aren't parsed and the leeches banned. Its pretty obvious zmbor and FX are abusive clients...

I just stumbled upon this on emule project.

It seems that in 0.47a:
- Clients which send filtered messages will now also be identified as spammers
- Clients which were identified as spammers will now be banned instead of only ignoring their messages

So it seems that now they really are going to be banned :P

Cheers

Cheers for the filtering info. I wasn't getting bombarded by them quite that badly, but I'm sure it'll save a bit of irritation :)
