Whenever i'm posting specs for a movie i open the file in Gspot and then manually copy/paste the info to the FHCB.
While i was reading this:
http://forum.dead-donkey.com/viewtopic.php?t=4
i thought it was time to giva a look at the export option in GSpot.
When using the file:
http://members.lycos.co.uk/fhimages/gspot-spud.txt
it doesn't show the aspect ratio and FPS (error).
Is this due to the fact that i'm using a beta version of Gspot or am i missing something?

For example:

--- File Information ---
File Name: Blood.Shack.1971.DVDRip.XviD.AC3-ThEdEaDLiVe.avi
File Size: 740,562,944 bytes

--- Video Information ---
Video Codec Name: XviD
Duration: 00:55:08
Video Bitrate: 1592kb/s
Bits / Pixel: 0.246
Resolution: 704x384
Aspect Ratio: / []
Frames Per Second: ***ERROR***

--- Advanced ---
B-VOP: B-VOP
QPel:
GMC:

--- Audio Information ---
No of Audio Streams: 1
Audio Codec: 0x2000(AC3, Dolby Laboratories, Inc) AC3
Audio Bitrate: 192kb/s CBR 48000 Hz
Audio Channel Count: 2
Interleave: 42ms
Preload: 32ms
Audio alignment: Split t Corporation

Any help would be much appreciated.

Cheers

use a different template, they changed the variable names and shortcuts very annoyingly, the maker has done it every new version so I just can't be arsed keeping up... there's one in the gknot installation folder if you used the installer (ExportFormat.txt)

Thanks for the quick reply Spud.
When using the exportformat that comes with Gspot it still displays some errors:

--- File Information ---
File Name: Ich_-_Ein.Groupie_(Ingrid_Steeger).avi

--- Video Information ---

Video Codec Name(e.g. "DivX 3, Low-Motion"): XviD
Video Codec Status(e.g. "Codec Is Installed"): Codec(s) are Installed
Duration (hh:mm:ss): 01:14:53
Frame Count: 112328
Frame Width (pixels): 624
Frame Height (pixels): 272
Frame Aspect Ratio (e.g "1.3333"):
Frame Aspect Ratio (e.g. "4:3"):
Pixel Aspect Ratio ("SAR"):
Display Aspect Ratio ("DAR"): 2.294

I guess manually adding the info is still the best way to go then.
Or maybe it's just the beta version that's giving me a hard time.
Bullocks ah well never mind.

Cheers

manually? why not just remove the lines that don't display, they are just plain text file templates.

my exportformat.txt looks like this:
Code:
AVI File Details
========================================
Name.........: %@
Filesize.....: %B
Runtime......: %K
Video Codec..: %F
Video Bitrate: %I
Audio Codec..: %L
Audio Bitrate: %N
Frame Size...: %H
