I've just upped to 10mbit connection.

Emule is now upping at 45kbps, trouble is it's downloading at less than that anw won't go any higher, I'm downloading over 100 items, some of which have 100's of sources, and my credit should be good.

Why so slow?

Take you aren't connected to any major server too? Try rebooting with a new serverlist.
