You don't have to DL ed2k links like you do with torrents. You just click them and your client queues them up and eventually starts downloading.

In case your client doesn't take the links you have to go to options -> general and click on the 'ed2k links'. button.

I hope this is what you wanted to know.

My personal advise about norton: lose it. :)

Welcome. :beerchug:

Not sure what you mean by that, it's not supposed to open. You have to click it once, after that it should be greyed out.

Have you tried an ed2k links afterwards?

That's a pretty unusal way to add links to emule. :) Try clicking any ed2k link on this site. Your client should add the file automatically. If that doesn't work, you still need to register ed2k links with your client. :)

You need to
a) register emule as the default ed2k (its under preferences) application, which it will be already
b) fix your browser, since its obviously not sending links to your ed2k client

This is covered in the faq section on the frontpage and the emule-project homepage.

yeah just configure your eMule to take the links under options or tools i forget. I just copy the link (right-click>copy link location) and a window pops up asking me to add the link. Have eMule open also.
