Hi guys, been happily using Zoom player for quite a while, yet today s.th strange happened. Without changing anything, neither in zoom player nor in my Pc, it started playing VIDEOS UPSIDE/DOWN and INSIDE/OUT. Then I tried with other players (vlc - wmp) and they work fine - so it's basically a problem of zoom player.

Any ideas on how to resolve this?

Video - inside/out -> instead of saying f.e. MEG RYAN - it says NAYR GEM (read from right to left)

+ it's upside/down -> No explanation needed, I guess.

Please help. :(

Well if you've isolated it to only occuring in zoom player. Then thats a start!

I shouldn't be a codec problem, otherwise all media players would have this problem.

What I'd do is dowload zoom player again and install to a different area on your PC and see what happens with a fresh version. If it does it again try and get a different version number (it may be some bizzarre bug!)

Failing that I'm not sure what you can do. Is zoom player a stand-alone player or does it come as in installable package?

If it's installed in windows then it could de a rogue file that s got corrupt, messing you about.

try a fresh install and fingers crossed!

ahhhh, it finally works again. :D :D

@ paul-scream22

I'd already done that... twice. i changed zoom player version, I saved it in another HD - but with no results. Same "bad video all over again.

Then i decided to analyze every single option of my zoom player and in Filter Properties - I found a "Bicubic Video Resizer" which has a "Flip Video" option. I checked it and now it works fine again. :D

Thanks anyway for your prompt answer. :D :P :D

No probs, glad you got it sorted!

You can never really tell what the problem is, or what the user (you) has done already.

Do you kow how that option got activated?

Did you click by mistake??

Since I didn't even know that that option even existed, I've oviously never clicked it, i'm quiet sure, not even by mistake.

But the strange part is that this option that says: Flip Video - wasn't checked!!!
Only AFTER I checked it I didn't have any more video probs. I guess that means that all the videos come upside down - almost like on our eye's retina, or on the cine/photo-camera lense. (At least - on my computer.)
