1. Delete known and clients.mets after every Shutdown.
2. Don't save sources.
3. Set min/max sources to 1000/5000
4. Use a port that you know is clean.

Works for me flawless.

Using BHv4 also.

Trust me people, this is the solution.

Deleting known.met is OK - you get rid of the files you aren't sharing anymore and mule starts much faster; even better if you occasionaly just clean it up using metmedic as then there's no need to rehash the files you share.

But deleting clients.met is evil because in this way you delete cumulative UL/DL info on which speed of queue climbing is determined. Even if a person sent you hundreds of jigamegabytes more than you sent him he's treated the same as all others because by deleting his info from clients.met you effectively meet him for the first time.

userhash is stored in preferences.dat and your private key is in criptkey.dat. Backup both of them, or you'll get invalid identification if you lose one or another.

Yes, other users credits are calculated from UL/DL info in clients.met. Your credits are scattered all over the internet.

I use Overnet. I have had problems with eMule in the past (ie download speeds that don't exceed .5kb/s, even on a well distributed file). Overnet works fine for me :)

There is a convertion utility in emul .30c and it works pretty well, but there's still a couple of files that it wont convert, and I have no idea why..
