If you are using DVD Decryptor, ensure Remove IFO/BUP RC protection and Remove IFO/BUP RCE protection are checked in Tools -> Settings General tab.

If you rip anything with dvddecryptor, ie. rip in iso mode, file mode, what have you, the region coding is removed automatically when CSS is cracked. So you will of course make it region free regardless, unless your some kind of sadist and don't use dvddecruptor.

If your simply wanting playback on a pc, download DVD Region Free, it allows you to play originals with any region coding.

Except they of course will still be NTSC formatted of course, so if your machine can't handle that then there's nothing you can do apart from hideous re-encoding.

ah rite, yup will work although make sure you got an NTSC tv, which you will most likely have. Just a straight Decrypting and to -r works fine everytime on my friends PS2 :)
