OK, I did screw up on keeping certain files, BUT.........
Thanks to Pawcio 4.14 I have rediscovered my love of emule

hmm but you used to use TBH which also uses a lot of pawcio's development...strange you have no problems still :wacky:

I think it was / is to do with a clean install (including the preferences), I'll try re-installing tbh v6 (clean) and see what the performace is like there too.

actually, BHM has messed about with so much that the bugs lay in other places, the Pawcio core is the only thing that isn't that buggy.

If BHM works fine, Pawcio works just as good, if BHM doesn't work, there's a good chance Pawcio works fine. You'll probably know that BHM is turd for many files, but Pawcio is fine with that, so you'll see that because BHM has so many changes that they are significantly different clients.

I agree with PCA, pawcio is the best cllient out at the moment.

i might have to have a look see at that when TBH v 4 gets on me nerves or i want to give the old kademlia bit a go aswell :D

doesn't have all the features, but quite frankly, I've never had a need for lots of the junk even in the official client.

i've just downloaded a few other mods to have a look at :mrgreen:

only had a brief glimpse of em last night but the top one looked quite nice on first impressions :D

also got the pawcio latest but it's not got kademlia implemented in it? :?
