HI,

Im new in here... hope to get some help...

I was lent a DVD some time back which i had to return in a day, hence i copied the entire DVD onto the HDD and returned the DVD... i neither have a DVD Burner nor thet DVD now..

I wanna convert those files on my HDD into DivX files as currently they are taking up about 4.7GB of space...

They are just soe song videos by the way...

Any help will be much appreciated.

If you "copied" via windows, your DVD is still encrypted. the best thing you can do now is to pretend to author a DVD in nero, but choose image burner. Then use something like daemon tools, or image ready and mount the image as a virtual drive.

Now you need to decrypt... but your in the domain of "ripping from stratch". Please read this topic:
