help with sygate

can anyone help me with updating sygate with the blocklist. ive got the blocklists in txt form ,copied each rule into the advanced rules and ive got the BEGIN RULE 1 in the box but i cant load any webpages :cry:

am i doing this right :oops:

Sygate kept crashing on me when I tried to paste advanced rules into it, gave up in the end and installed Protowall.

Sygate did not like me importing huge lists, I used to break them up into 4 smaller rules. TBH it started to cause Sygate to lag and use a lot of esources. Now I just let the mule and azureus do there thing with there blocklists, just sems to use less resources.

thanks for your advice guys.managed to get the main blocklist in and it seems to be running fine tho i have turned off the ads tracker rules or it takes 5 min to get into my mailbox :wacky:

i run protowall aswell as the ip filter in the mule so fingers crossed

Not sure about using protowall and the mule blocking at the same time, the lists should be basically the same and you are probably just wasting resources.

Also,it says you are in the UK, there aint alot they can do to ya ATM even if you do get caught, just remember the golden rule, deny everything. :beerchug:
