What is the best version of CCE to use with RE-Builder 64a?

I am currently using CCE 2.67.00.27 (EclCCE.exe) and the decode DLL is from this release on doom9.net pDoom9's Forum > General > DVD2AVI > DGMPGDec 1.0.12 released!

Thing is that when I encode i get great looking results sound and image is perfect but I get that error when playing where the image stalls every now and then... basically the image just pauses or on some players i get a small "block" pixel looking error then the DVD stops playing ...

So I think it is some kind of encoding problem, can someone please check that I am using the correct versions of the software....

Also instead of the DGMPGdec wat is the best place to get that other mpeg decoder? Is it just the one that comes packaged in avisynth.

Yeah, it seems that you're using bad quality media...

You should look into trying new media. I've used over 300+ Ritek DVD+R and have never had any playback problems when tested.

Hi Jynks,
you can try DataSafe (Ritek G04 Dye), Ritek (Ritek G04 Dye), Ridata (Ritek G04 Dye), RiDisc (Ritek G04 Dye) and Verbatim, Sony, etc... medias. You can eventually create an 100% compliant DVD Iso with ImgTool Classic and burn it with DVD Decrypter at 1-2X (4X may works good but slowly speeds are safe).

imations are crappy, there shouldn't be anything wrong with your TDKs though and plus the fact that you burn them at 1x. What kind of DVD player do you have?

Did you install DVD Region-X software for your XBox or are you trying to play your backup with the default Microsoft player ? Is your DVD multi-region ? What XBox drive (Samsung, Thomson or Philips) have you got ?

Hi

i always use nero to burn my project, v6.3.1.25 using nero 'DVD-Video' default profile, and everything work great so far.
just curious to ask: did nero create 100% compliant dvd?

thanks

I always say the same thing, when it does stuff like that, its normally the media that's to blame.

I wouldn't use nero. Put your video_ts and audio_ts folders in a folder called whatever you want the disc to be called, then use ImgTool classic to create an image and burn with dvddecrypter :)

hmm not directly related but I get weird slowdowns in video after re-encoding AVI to DVD video (using TMPGenc) ... I tried for a while to figure out what's wrong but I just don't know. Since then I've abandoned the thought of re-encoding avi :(
any knowledge or help would be VERY much appreciated.

I've been using this guide:
http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/convert_avi_to_dvd.cfm

(sorry for OT)

When I convert AVI to DVD I use either canopus Pro coder and DVD LAB to make the menus and stuff.... Never had a problem with that.

But i have been meaning to get a copy of CCE 2.5 as DVD2SVCD supports that encoder and has a avi conversion options.....

I have a countless problem with media with my burner and so lost a lot of money in buying blanks only to find nice coasters to Mexican car ornaments
The only media I seem to have %100 no problem with is with RICOHJPNR01 branded TDK DVD+. I don't know what other name brand uses RICOHJPNR01 but I love em'.
If these freak'n' companies would only list on the label to what name media is on their product It would be easy.
Stay away from Memorex because they suck I had got a 50 pack and all of them except 5 discs worked!, they use cheap Ritek.
