erm... you know they reflect nothing beyond 'a bit of fun'? It makes no difference what they are beyond your own satisfaction perhaps, they just change the longer your around... there's a list of them somewhere in the site development section.

the ed2k network is about fairity which is why it has lasted so long it has. There should be no trading or unfair priorities. if there are, then the network will fail. Why should you be allowed to download if you are unfairly treating the network? ie. only giving your bandwidth to a single party, whilst leeching off the rest?

It makes prefect sense to introduce restrictions to downloads with the use of friendslots and other trading features. Its not only warranted, its fair too.

If you want that stuff, please switch to winmx, and then you'll see how gay it is.

No, it is a good thing to have a limit on firend slot. But I didn't understand the 3kb max part. I can give only 2kb, so it isn't anything for me but if I were a friend of a 50kb ul guy; I could broke my friendship with him :matrix:

As they said in the emule project forum, the limit must be a percentage or total ul. Like %30 or something.

I have doubled my connection (256-64) and newest Pawcio is working nicely. (Now I'm trying Stormit; a Pawcio based mod) :beerchug:

And about the MorphXt, there will be the 1:3 limit in the new version. So must find another mod.

@Spud: You were messin some sources of emule, can you make a new mod? :lol:

My connection is 1024 / 256 (soon to be 1536 / 256).

Pawcio is pissing me off ATM, my download speeds have dropped from 105kb constant to between 10 and 40 K fluctuating all over the place :evil:

Hmm, that's really annoying then. Also Stormit piss me off today. It freezes the Windows for a second in every 10 min or something. I'm trying new edonkey now, (its slower than .52 but finds more sources) maybe I will go with this one. Pawcio is nice but I couldn't config the download management (Ucs or something), when I browse in web, my download is drops significantly. (but donkeys beats ie :wacky:

Also Pawcio corrupt my 4-5 downloads, I don't know why. (ICH manage to get some of it).
