Its closed source at the moment, but i think he said he was going to open it sooner or latter = > g++ bitcomet = hooray! :D

Hopefully it will open its source very soon for u penguin dudes :)

For this penguin dude it still would be useless. If it will be ported then probably wxWindoze will be used just like in the linux emule derivates. Not really a problem with this. But it probably will require X to run and only on the foreground -> No X or GUI on my 'firewall' machine -> useless.

I've downloaded new versions of every app (and since installing the latest java - i think it *must* be this) - Azureus comes out as the best client!

Weighing up the features, the interface and what not, and regarding download speed it wins in all respects (tested with a speed download on the same torrent - Angel 5x17 - HDTV-XVID). That float on top quick status is neat too :lol:

So if your wanting one, I'd say that Azureus is the piggy to back on. Update Java and let the good times roll!

Gotta say my Azureus has been way better since I got a newer Java and the newest client. I gave up on it for a while, but now CPU usage is way down, and the speed is awesome as usual.

javas been at 1.4 for about ten years now. However, I recommend an update to a 1.4.2_04
