hehe, I said I needed LOST of help didn't I?
1. I'm displaying a background image like this:
Code: |
body { background-image: url("images/S_johndoe002.jpg"); background-repeat: no-repeat; background-position: center } |
Now in IE it displays the way I want it, dead center. But in opera it's centered only on the horizontal axis, not the vertical. So that half the picture is suddenly off the screen. The site seams to be down ATM, so I can't show you. But I guess what I need is an extra 'especially for opera' parameter?
2. I still can't get an image displayed correctly in IE on the bottom-right in a page with scroll bars. It's displayed on the bottom right of the shown screen, so that when I scroll down, it's half way up the screen. I've tried several ways to do it, but they all mess up in IE.
3. I want to have a 'contact form'. What's the best way to do this? I've been searching around and it seams you can do this in several different ways..? I thought it would be nice if my email could be encrypted or something, though, so that spambots can't get it. And it should check that the person has written a valid email in the 'email' field.
4. Thinking I might have a forum up there as well, but not sure yet. I do want to keep the guestbook, for those that aren't very computer litterate to leave me a message by, but would it then be overkill to also have the forum? The way I'm thinking is that this site will be a rather personal "This is me, and these are my interest" kind of thing, thus it would be nice to see if there were someone out there who had the same interest, and wanted to discuss movies, music, whatever.... hmmm....
