downloaded slaughter high... would like to convert it to put it on disk... so it will play in my dvd player .. using winavi converter.... but i know i need some kind of codec because this software wont convert it... some kind of translation error.... i must of downloaded about 3 diffrent kind of codecs and it still not taking it... just wondering what kind of codec are you using..
any help would be appreciated....

Exact error message is probably the most effective way of tracking plus a link to a release thread will help too. Normally its AC3 codecs people have trouble with.

I think you'll find the vast majority of people do not convert formats because its a very lousy and lossy method with too many drawbacks. I use my xbox as an mpeg4 player. Its worth the investment to get a standalone in the wrong run. Time and effort on re-encoding, not to mention the huge quality increase you'll get from not doing a format conversion.
