Need help about my little problem.

I can't format my master-drive without installing XP on another drive, is that the only way of doing that?

Please help, need it bad.

erm, i thought you just booted up and hit space bar when asked to boot from cd?

If you don't get the prompt, you need to set your first boot device as cd-rom.

I booted it from cd-rom but all it did was instaling XP on another drive, even when I selected the master-drive to be formated and installed to. And it didn't format any of the drives.

Isn't there another way to do this?

That sounds like you got the option wrong, when your choosing the parition you need to erase it. It will ask you which partition to choose from the list, and you need to highlight your first one and hit "l".

It might be easier just downloading pro anyway. This is what i get when using XP pro
