I've just got one of these and after a while running emule everything else slows down, mule carries on running fine but it takes forever to surf, check email etc. If anyone else has this router could you please let me know what mule connection settings you are using? TIA :beerchug:

No, I don't suppose any of you have, you are all probably too smart to buy a router on the recommendation of a mate that uses the net almost purely for gaming without checking whether it works with emule first. TBH I wasn't aware any routers didn't work properly with emule, I assumed a router is a router is a router. It dosesn't work well with Morph or Neo, I have found a mod it does work with though which is based on v0.46c, I'm not going to plug the mod on here as it is a bad mod. However it is giving me a nicely spread u/l, 6 people with approx 4.5k each as opposed to one person getting 20k+ and the others battling it out for the rest which Morph was doing. I'd prefer a more recent mod though, and one which hasn't got all the (switched off) leech options that this one has.

BTW speaking of bad mods, the new Neo has loads of tweaks for banning them, if it worked on my system I'd be using this.

If it helps any, my net surfing etc suffers similar slowdowns using a Sweex wireless router.

Thought it might be related to something else, but it only seems to happen when the mule has been running for a while. :(

Thx ViSCeRaL. I've gone back to Morph as I noticed the bad mod had limited my upload to 23k/s whereas I had it at 28 which worked fine with my previous router. I've tried lowering Morph to 23 and so far it hasn't slowed down too much, I'm going to leave it a few hours and see what happens. It's annoying that this router is stealing 5k/s from you guys though
