DVD Rebuilder doesn't have an option to do this. Does anyone know a good IFO editor that will enable me to remove them on the DVD-9 first? I tried ifoedit and it crashed on this DVD (Ifoedit has encountered a problem and needs to close). TIA.

According to AVG that archive may be infected by the unknown virus MPH, it's the DVDRemake.exe as well

Odd, checked the file with Kaspersky and it didn't flag it. I guess it's fine then, but thanks for the updated version though

You can do the stripping of the extras with DVDShrink really easily, but then make sure that you don't set it to do any encoding.
*Sound of Spud's DVDShrink alarm going off*
Then, if you need to do any recoding, just use DVD-RB

DVDrebuilder has basic abilities to do this, if you just want to ditch all extras or ditch all extras and keep the menus, you just check the box.

I had thought of using DVDShrink but I had a play around with it and didn't like it much. @Spud, the DVD in question is 2 Russ Meyer films and a trailer reel on a DVD-9, I wanted to keep both the films and remove the trailer reel. Now I have DvdRemake Pro I've changed my mind and I will split it so that each film is on a separate DVD-5 without having to re-encode so as to keep the quality as good as possible.

given the films, i'd just re-encode with 4 pass, but what ever floats your boat
