Hi everyone i am going to build my own pc.Has any one got any advice as in the best gear to get according to my budget.My budget will be £400,thanks in advance for your help :D :D

WoW!! so you need a case, monitor, HD, motherboard, CPU, gfx card and memory for £400!

But you'll need to put a bit by for a monitor as well

You're not going to get much of a machine for £400, and very little benefit from building it yourself.

Buy one of these monitors:

And it'll come to a shade over your budget, but at least you can just unpack it and use it. Fine for office applications and internet surfing, but don't expect to get any speed for gaming or encoding.

You need to at least double your budget for a decent machine.
