Mean a program that can find wireless hotspots and show you where they are, so that you can find the best place to connect. Preferrably one that also tells you which networks are secured and which are not.
The only one I've found is this:

and it's a bit quirky... I have seen people use other apps, but don't know what they're called. Suggestions?
