well, maybe u know.
i was not able to play AVI's with winamp3
i installed FFDShow - it plays now.
BUT all peoples r blue. lol
i dont see any settings in preferences.
and with LA or WMP all is ok.
i know winamp3 sucks
but i play videoclips with it. and it has Random play.
LA, BS, WMP dont have playlist or dont have shuffle.
so maybe u know how to fix it, or Player which has playlist and ability to play videos random.
tnx

well, main reason - to have Playlist + ability to play videos RANDOM
not make playlist random - then play in in order
but pure random.
i dunno players that can do that, except winamp3
that's why i am asking

just use zoomplayer, lot better than shitty winamp. Click the sort button then "randomly"

random list?
it will randomize it - and then new random list will be played in ORDER. right?
i want to play files random. not to randomize list.

I never noticed the button until I went to check up on the random shuffle thing, will come in handy for watching simpsons episodes, just to jumble em all up :)

Every series, small manageable filesize/avis, look fine via tv-out. You can fit about 2 series to a DVD-r. I got every series of south park, simpsons and futurama, and buy the box sets on dvd of the latter when they come out every 6 months or so :)

I use NVDVD myself and have no problems...of course it helps if you got Nvidia cards which I know some don't have.It sorts and randomizes.Pluss plays DVD all without serious lag on my system.

That was my 2 cents worth or pence worth depending on your location.

ah. I see there is a new Winamp 5 out now. Any reason to kick my old trusted 2.8?

@JD
Just started using it. Had got it but not installed until I needed to play the music file you posted. For fun started dropping .avi's into it... plays fine but no ac3 (maybe a plugin available?). Gonna start going through all the features and see if I can find something to like/hate about it...

So far:
Looks nice, sounds nice, and have always enjoyed the resource hungry visualizations, so nothing to really comment on right now... :wacky:

ah. thank you for the little review there. I still haven't installed it, since I remember how I regretted installing v.3 which was just annoying. I was contemplating testing out some other players as well... Sonique perhaps? recomendations?
