I just completed downing ed2k: them!_-_%5Bcybersatan_for_gpwarez_and_fileheaven.org%5D.ogg  [696.38 Mb] [Stats] but can't get it to play correclty in any player.

Koala won't take it at all, WMP just gives an error and shuts down, BSplayer just plays a few sec. but when I tried to skip foreward, it also shut down. Divxfix says it's not an avi file, and g-spot tells me some of the streams in the movie is unsupported.

I can't understand this.. I've played tons of ogg files before..? HELP?

I installed the newest nimo pack and a whole shitlot of codec that I had no idea what were.. That got the video playing but no audio. So I uninstalled everything and started from scratch.. finally everything is a-ok. Wonder what will happen if I try to play something else now..?

...................and john was never heard from again. Yes, that's the legend of john doe and the tale of the cursed codec. He uninstalled his codecs, and they uninstalled him. Some dark nights they say you can still hear his screams, and the echo click click click of ctr-alt-delete...........

Hell yeah, I have done that before, spent hours ripping out codecs and installing new ones to get one movie to play, only to find all the others do not work properly, or play upside down LOL Gave myself a headache once hanging from the ceiling to watch a movie LOL
