Need to know what is the best VHS Copygaurd Remover?

that is the same as macrovision, i think.
very old vcr's arent affected by it.
building a macrovision removal box is kind of a pain, i had some sites that had guideson building them bookmarked, but cant find them now.
easier just to buy a box, do a google for VHS Copyguard Remover and a bunch will pop up.

if its an ati card you capture with, i think doom9 has a patch to remove macrovision, but ive never got it to work.

has some demacro boxes for about ?20 bob, although they call them DVD-something or other. They also clear up the source a lot so are very good.

I have bought some stuff from there and can vouge for them being a reputable company and speedy delivery

I obviously didn't realise i'd put the ? in before 20, and therefore instead of going back and putting it in it was easier for me to type bob

Yeah i guess im going to have to pick up a box.
I had this great old vcr that lasted 20 freak'n years!! how amazing is that!
and it played the videos without the macrovision/copygaurd, well that baby is dead now

.
I just don't want to spend a whole lot of dough on this box thingy.
i was hoping someone out there can recomend a good box that will do the job.

yup my vcr was the same, demacroed everything. That one started eating tapes.
