OK guys, I let one of the skids on my PC and they installed some software for changing icons, dunno what it was as they removed it before I came back as they know I do not like them installing software. Any way, half of my icons are ruined now.
Icons for zip files, log files, bmp, jpg and shit loads of others have changed to that horrible default thing it shows when it cannot find the icon, any ideas how to get them back?

I saw an entry for Style XP in my registry and think it may have been that that did it in the first place, as I have not had Style XP installed on this build of XP yet.
I did actually install it and it would let me change the icons, but strangely did not change the ones that are/were fucked!?!?!?!
Anyways, I sorted it now, I borrowed a copy of iconpackager and luckily I could restore them back to default.
You using that style xp Mr Bass? I never can find a decent theme that does not annoy me after a while, you got any suggestions? Bare in mind I am slightly colour blind and fuckin hate red cos I cant see it very well LOL

Yeah, I always look at it that way. Kinda like a fresh start. In a dream world XP would be as stable and secure as Linux, until then we must do it oursleves to Bill Gates.
