I have noticed today that when I try to view pages with IE and an animated gif comes onscreen CPU jumps to lamost 100 for IE, and as soon as I scroll it off the page it drops back again.

I was gonna try to repair IE, but when I goto the add/remove windows shit like I used to under 98 there is no option to repair, it only says about removing it from the start menu, any ideas guys?

Download IE from the net and install it over the existing version.

2. download opera
3. crack opera
4. use opera

Any idea how to watch QT and RM files using the alternative players? I refuse to install the official stuff, especially real player? Last time I had opera i could not use either of these, I also could not get any download accelerators to work.

Getright can be used fine, but opera has a built in download manager.

Fuckin stupid MS, I followed the guide on their site to trick IE into re-installing itself blah blah blah, and it doesnt work LOL Says the files have not passed the XP compatability shit, says it all really. Stupid IE went mental, so I have opera up and running now, gotta say it has improved alot since the last time I used it.

Oh and this fucker is fast too.

i take it you've cracked the gui to get rid of that banner?
