Tree <path> > <pathandfilename>

TREE is the dos command for tree structure
<path> is the specified root
> is pipping to
<pathandfilename> is the file to store the structure to

ie.
TREE d:\games > d:\1.txt

for files as well, add the flag /f

TREE d:\games /f > d:\1.txt

tried this and got an :
"> was unecpected ast this time" =(

hmm > is the command for piping, in all major operating systems infact (nix and dos included). I tried the command above, TREE d:\games > d:\1.txt and it dumped the tree structure into the text file.

Definitely working. Tried the /f one and it dumped a list of files too.

Make sure you've put spaces in and you have created the text file in question, just incase its a typo.

still don't see a file.=(

Got too many parameters within the text, at least the one on the C;/ root.

nevermind, Had to put all in the root.=(

As in the txt had to be the c:/txt.
