Hi all,

I am fairly new at all of this and have looked through various topics regarding subtitles...and have attempted everything I can, but still can't seem to make it work. I have the subtitles in .sub, .ssa, and .srt.

I have the film in .avi. I opened the file in VirtualDub, added subtitle filter, opened the.ssa file...when I preview it here, the subtitles are there....

I then file>start framserver...I save as hautetension.vdr and do not press stop serving.

I then open TMPGEnc and start a VCD...I add the hautetension.vdr as the video and audio...I have the DirectShow Multimedia at a 2 priority...but when I start to encode to .mpg it doesn't show the subs...I even let it run through the whole process just to see if the ensuing .mpg would show the subs in media player, but no.

Does anybody have some tips for me, I'm dying to see this movie, but want to watch it on my tv on a DVD with the subs.
