I'm using emule .42g

I am sitting in a irc chan leeching the lone wolf and cub TV series.. thing is the f-servers have a speed limit so if I drop below a certain speed I get booted from the f-server....

I have set my download speed limits in emule so I should have enough bandwidth but emule is trying to connect to way to many files at once... so I have like 12-15 files trying to download but each only getting a 1 or less each....

Dose anyone know how I can limit it to only try to connect to 1 or 2 files at a time?

You mean limit your downloads to two files? or do you mean like the topic title says and limit connections? Both are very different, with the latter being a simple matter of lowering the "connection" number in options to something lower. This means your emule connects to less sources, which means it uses less bandwidth.

If you mean limit to actually downloading 1 to 2 files, you have to pause everything but two files, then check "resume next paused" in options.

nope, that's contrary to how edonkey has always worked. You could try BHM, that seemed to consolodate all bandwidth on single files. Pausing is the only way though.
